                      What is a profile?
                      A Profile is a scrapbook that will give the birth family a peak into your life. It is about 5-10 pages long. Photo of you and your family, Dear Birth mom letter, photo’s of your home, animals, other children, extended family members. Remember this is the birth families first look into your life.                       Why do I need a profile?
                      Your Family Profile Book is the only tool that is used by Birth Mothers to review potential Adoptive Parents. It is imperative that your Family Profile Book accurately reflects who your family is. It is equally important that it be concise and specific.

                      When should I start putting together a profile?
                      The sooner you can start putting together the Family Profile Book, the better. There are many ways to create the book yourself, but please remember that this is the only tool used by Birth Mothers to review potential Adoptive Parents. A well organized and thought out Family Profile Book is essential.
